I’m an Integral coach and a strategist with 30+ years of working with leaders, teams and organizational eco-systems, to build cultures and ways of being that bring growth.
My career started in business PR consulting, and migrated to marketing in financial services. Marketing and brand strategy consulting followed, working with varied sectors and sizes of businesses.
This experience combined with lots of personal development, brought me to the realization that people and the way they work together, not strategy, unlocks potential in organisations – basically, culture eats strategy for breakfast. A window opened into coaching as the way to truly open up possibilities and bring greater impact to organisations and leaders. With the support of a coach or facilitator, you can see and understand new perspectives, so that you can better chart your own course forward.
My Life Path has shaped my Why, How and What
Having traversed some pretty twisting roads, here are a few standouts from the journey that shape my work in the world:
- Purpose is an anchor. I’ve defined mine as ‘juicing the truth towards greater expansion’. I’m a truth speaker and seeker and love to dig in, tease out, stretch and explore. Our purpose usually emerges from our greatest wound in childhood – in my case, not feeling heard or seen for who I was.
- Clients say I help them feel safe to drop their masks and get naked (no, not literally!). I’m clear on boundaries and safety as this is a pre-requisite for any development work. I’m also fascinated by our many unique layers as human beings.
- My greatest joy is to help people move forward. I know how stuck we can be at times, I’ve been there. I also know how liberating it is when we have more options available to us. When I work with you I invest in your success, championing you forward with sincerity and love, and challenge when needed.
- I’m an avid dancer, boogy boarder, sea swimmer, hiker and all round adventurer. This spirit comes through in my work and is why I love living in Noordhoek outside Cape Town, where sea and mountains meet.
When I’m not coaching or facilitating, I’m a mother to two teens and a very fluffy Siberian cat, a wife to my partner-partner as I call him, and a daughter to a stylish mother.
